How often do I mix all of my life’s problems in the blender?   I often forget one ingredient though.  GOD!   If I  do put him in it more than likely is just a pinch.   Wonder why my life is so chaotic?  It is because of that little pinch of God.  I never put enough of him in there.  This is sad to say but it is very true.  I only tend to want him when my life is going terrible.

Do I ever stop to praise him for the good things?   This reminds me of the movie Facing the Giants.  This was a great Christian movie.   A losing football team was told by their coach that no matter what they are going to praise God.   This means for their loses too.   How hard is that?   I tend to get down on myself for things that have not gone as planned.  In reality there is a reason.  I may not know what it is, but someday I will know.

My thoughts from above came from Jeff’s sermon today.  Moral of Jeff’s message today, was to put God in every aspect of your life.  Don’t stay so busy that you don’t have time for him.   While you are working, try to listen for God like you do when you are in your bed waiting to go to sleep.
