21% Closer to Poland
Feb 26th, 2009 by Lou

WOW!   God is amazing.  I would never of dreamed that in 2 days, I would actually have over $300 toward my trip to Poland this summer.   This just goes to show that I should have more faith in God.  Look at the miraculous things he is doing for me.

I have had cousins, pastors, bowling friends, friends, Michael’s friends, people that I don’t know but my Mom and Dad taught, to people I would have never dreamed of donating.  On top of just collecting money from people, I am also selling cookies on Fridays at my school.  It has really gone well.  I have sold $27 worth so far.  It is amazing how much this little bit can add up.

I have heard numerous stories from people about how they came up with there money to give me.

  • I went to my paypal account to donate you something and I had actually had only $3 in there.   (This is what I am asking of my Facebook friends.)
  • I went to the bowling alley, and a girl gave me a dollar.  She said she will give me the other 2 next week.
  • One of Michael’s friends gave me $200.
  • My students are so interested, they were bringing me some of their pennies (how sweet).

Thanks to you, I am 21% closer to my $1500 mark for Poland.   But if you have not donated, believe me you are not too late.  Just click on the Chipin icon on the sidebar of this blog and donate.   Don’t forget to also pray for all team members that are embarking on this mission from God.

For the good news must be preached to all nations.

Mark  13:10

Dear Blog Friends,

I have recently made the exciting decision to go on a mission trip with my home church, Journey Church.  Journey Church’s mission is to go forth into the world and spread the word that God has given us.   Journey Church has helped its members travel to Denver, CO, Memphis, TN, South Africa, and Poland in hopes of reaching all nations to Christ.   This year, I want to go with them to Krakow, Poland.

I will be gone from for one week during the beginning of July.  Throughout the trip, I will be busy ministering along side the UAM Blossom softball team while they conduct a  softball clinic.   During the clinic, we will have the opportunity to spread what Jesus has done in our life.   Also, coffee houses are set up in the evening.  Polish students attend these coffee houses to practice their English on real American people.   The total cost of this trip is approximately $1500, which includes all expenses: airfare, accommodations, and food.

I cannot accomplish this task alone, so please join me with your prayers.  I am praying specifically that I will be able to have the finances available to take part in the tremendous task that I feel God is leading me on.

I am asking you to also be a part of this mission trip by investing in my life and in the lives of the people I will reach in Krakow, Poland.  During the next several months, I will be working very hard to raise the finances to go on this mission trip. My first $100 is due on March 15.  I am hoping to have my trip paid in full by May 2009.

Any amount you give will be greatly appreciated.  Please make all checks payable to Lou Arnold or Journey Church. If you write it to me, I will make sure that it gets to its rightful place.   If you write it to Journey, please make sure you include my name in the memo.  You can send all donations to Lou Arnold, 1371 N. Hyatt, Monticello, AR 71655.

If you wish you may also donate online.   Click on the Help Send Me to Poland button.

If you have any questions or comments, you can get a hold of me at (870)723-7210 or teacherarnold@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for your consideration.  Your prayers and support are greatly appreciated!

God Bless You,

Larryanna Lowery (Lou) Fletcher-Arnold
