The Innocence of A Child

Yesterday we went to Arkansas City Baptist Church Homecoming.   I don’t really like going there because Ashton gets very upset and wants to see his Granddaddy, whom passed away almost three years ago.   I don’t know why he remembers him because he wasn’t even two.   On the way home, we stopped by the cemetery to see Granddaddy.   Ashton wanted his picture with Granddaddy.  After taking the picture, he asked if we could send it to Granddaddy in heaven.

I told him that Granddaddy could see him from heaven right now.  That answer did not work because Granddaddy needed one on his refrigerator in heaven so he could see him everyday.   Basically, I had to tell him that I would e-mail it to Jesus when I found out his e-mail and he could give it to Granddaddy.  So if anyone knows Jesus’ e-mail please let me know.

Camping in Heber Springs

We finally took our last vacation before school starts. We all backed our bags and our tent and headed to Heber Springs. This trip was so much fun. We stayed three nights. I don’t think Ashton ever got out of the water. OK maybe to sleep but that was a fight. Kaylee stayed nasty because she was playing all over the place in the dirt and rocks. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

I don’t think Kaylee ever stopped laughing at her Daddy on the whole trip. I believe this trip was their bonding moments.

The water was still really high from all the rain that North Arkansas got a few months ago. Ashton thought it was so cool to sit at the picnic table that was in the water.

We got to to motorcross racing. This was too cool. I loved it.

Of course there is always time to be silly with Mommy.

Kaylee favorite part of the trips was driving the pontoon.

Yes that is me in the water with a life jacket. I don’t get in anything over my head because I can’t tread water for nothing.

Ashton also got to drive the pontoon boat.

Kaylee waving at Ashton and Michael swimming in the lake.

Ashton’s smile will sum up how great our trip was.

I told you from my past post about being disgusted with the city water and sanitation office, that you had not heard the last of me.

Much to my surprise, the city newspaper printed my article.  Check it out.

What Happened to Me

Author: Lou  //  Category: Uncategorized

What has happened to make me change this much?

I went from..

. to

listening to “Sin City” by ACDC to listening to “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone) by Chris Tomlin

to

drinking beer to drinking Cokes

to

smoking cigarettes to chewing gum

to

a lustful life to a sacred married life

The answer is simple. I went from

to

the devil to Jesus

Let me be the first to tell you the life with Jesus is so much better than the life with the devil. I now walk in the light and not in the dark.

Don’t you wish you had Jesus in your life?
