We have new neighbors and everyone is freaking out. Why? So what she is of different color. That doesn’t mean that trouble has moved in. This young lady could end up being the best neighbor we have. It just drives me nuts that we are making assumptions on who has moved in and we haven’t even talked to her.
Crazy Lou was like well I will go see who she is. They were worried because I was going over there. Why not? I am thinking if my son is going to be playing with her son then I want to know who they are. So I walked over there and a few of my neighbors joined when I was heading over there.
Why does it take one to step out with open arms and welcome someone to the neighborhood? Jesus welcomes me to his world everyday and I know for a fact that I am not perfect and have lots of faults. Who are we to judge this young lady?
Here is a video from footage of the aftermath of the Stuttgart tornado. I believe this tornado was very unexpected. We were in Casscoe (10 minutes outside of Stuttgart) just before this hit. We decided to drive home to Monticello before all the storms hit (didn’t even think of tornadoes.) We made it to DeWitt when the tornado hit. As we were going through DeWitt the tornado siren went off. What a scary feeling? Needless to say I was watching the trees until we made it home.
After we got home we realize what had happen. I am in awe over what we missed and what we could have been involved in. God really took care of us. He let me be calm because I am really scared of storms. I have run from them all my life while living in a trailer in Lake Village. I can remember the night we ran and my sister fell and busted her head open. We had no idea until we got where we were trying to go. My sister, who is autistic, doesn’t really feel pain. Needless to say we were in the emergency room most of the night get stitches. This is the main reason that storms are not on my good lists and the fact that I knew someone personally who was struck by lightning.
All I can say is thank God he protected me and my family.
