This was Kaylee’s first Christmas ever. She had the best time opening her presents and messing with Ashton’s new toys. Here are a few pictures of her first Christmas.

Here they are getting ready for Christmas night. We sleep under the tree in hope for a sighting of Santa. It never works. He always comes while we are sound asleep.

Here she is trying to wake up Ashton. She can’t open presents until everyone is up. It is about 5:30 a.m.

Overall First Christmas: EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL

What an eventful day! First off, I had to go and buy a new digital camera at the last minute. My sister threw mine on the concrete. Not a happy camper about this since my husband left the camera out. Anyways, I have a new camera now.
Christmas has been good. Here are a few pictures (WITH MY NEW CAMERA!!!).

Ashton’s Tattoo Machine (thanks to Shelley for spotting it)

Kaylee’s Baby doll

Michael’s candle wreath (from Ashton)

My tickets to see the Houston Rockets play basketball in Memphis.

Michael’s tickets to see the Newsboys (6th row—Yeah I did good)
After all the presents were over….Kaylee just couldn’t make it anymore.

Why is it that you can spend lots of money on presents and the kids just want the boxes? We could save lots of money if we would just get the boxes without the toys.

Sorry, I am only about a few weeks off with this post. I participated in the Christmas swaps with my fellow bloggers. We swapped gifts. Debbie from Iowa (I think) pulled my name. It was so neat to find new people’s blog to read. So here is my gift.
I did receive two pillows. One said joy and the other said believe. My sister is home and does not think pillows belong on the couch, so she has thrown it somewhere. We also received a bag of chocolate candy of which Ashton immediately open and ate. We loved the gift Debbie. It was perfect.
We are so busy during this season. Hint the reason why this blog is late. We just finished all our testing in kindergarten before the holiday. We have had Christmas parties all week. Bowling on Tuesday, Journey Church on Wednesday, Michael’s work on Wednesday, and my class on Friday. So it has been week. Guess what it is not over. Here is our schedule.
Saturday: Christmas at Arkansas City
Sunday: Christmas in Lake Village
Monday: my nephew from Batesville’s coming over
Tuesday: Christmas in Casscoe (Stuttgart)
Wednesday: Christmas in Camden
Thursday: off
Friday: Memphis for the Houston Rockets vs. Memphis Grizzles game (My Christmas present. Houston is totally going to beat Memphis.)
Saturday: In Casscoe
Sunday: In Casscoe
Monday: In Cascoe
So as you can see we are busy. My two weeks will be over before I know it.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
