Where’s Daddy

Carolyn Noble created all members of the Hot Mom’s Club t-shirts for the Race for the Cure.

She did a great job, except she left out one little detail…..DADDY! Ashton is so concerned because Daddy is missing. Ashton wanted me to paint Daddy on the shirt because Daddy is not there. I ignored him as usual, but he is a persistent little fellow. Don’t know where he gets that? J So since Carolyn left Daddy out, Mommy had to fix it. So here are the results.

Finally Friday

It’s finally Friday! Woo hoo.

I am so glad the Pumpkin Patch is over. I love going and the kids have a blast. Come on…keeping up with 17 kids is a difficult task. Here are some things that I can still hear myself saying over and over again.

  • Find your partner.
  • Get in line
  • You have to go to the bathroom again. Did you not go when everyone else went?
  • The rain is not going to hurt you, believe me you are going to live.
  • Stay with the group.
  • Hold my hand going into the haunted house. I will take care of you.
  • Is it 1:30 yet, I am ready to go home?
  • Who wanted chocolate milk? White milk?
  • Don’t throw the sand.
  • Don’t spit at the turkeys.
  • Who has not found a pumpkin? Here is one.
  • Just close your eyes and do not open them until we get to Monticello. (By the way my class was the only class that was not going to sleep on the way home from the Pumpkin Patch)

Kid news:

Ashton finally has received two smiley faces during his first 9 weeks of school. Kaylee has taken her first step. Yes you heard me right. Kaylee took one step and fell. She is about to drive me crazy. She is only 6 months and here she is going to try to walk. She is pulling up, crawling, and now walking. She is moving in the fast lane. Could she just slow down?

Throwback Thursday–1962

This is a picture of my Dad 17 years before I was born. I just wanted to remember him. October 7th marks two years since he passed away with pancreatic cancer. Sometimes it is hard to not have him around. I still try to pick up the phone and call him.

I love you Daddy!

By the way, can you see where Kaylee and me get our looks? It is definitely a Fletcher gene.
